ProcureStaff Launches Online Supplier Billing & Invoice Portal

ProcureStaff, a provider of services procurement solutions, announced today that it’s launched a new online supplier billing and invoicing Web portal.

The portal could set a new standard for consolidation in billing and billing processes for service procurement, according to the company.

The features of the “Supplier Payment Website” add to ProcureStaff’s Vendor Management System software, improving efficiency and cost savings in the procurement of contract and project based staff, according to the company.

The new supplier payment portal is aimed at satisfying the requirements for major corporations in invoice consolidation.

The portal drives efficiency and lowers costs by enhancing spend visibility while eliminating unnecessary work between customers and their suppliers.
“The response from the market has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Charlie Rose, ProcureStaff CFO, in a statement.

“This open payment and billing architecture enables enormous efficiency in billing, allowing us to improve accuracy and achieve SAS (News - Alert) 70 compliance certification, adding more value to our solution through strict SOX compliance and audit controls.”

ProcureStaff, Ltd., a subsidiary of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., provides specialized software and services that streamline and manage procurement of temporary staffing, project work, consultants and other human capital services.

ProcureStaff claims that its solution improves efficiencies throughout the entire procurement lifecycle, including vendor management, sourcing, spend management, invoicing, reconciliation and payment for enterprise clients.

Procurestaff solutions offer supply chain management software (VMS) and managed services programs (MSP) outsourcing, liberating clients’ Human Resources and procurement professionals from the intensive tasks surrounding contingent workforce management, so they can focus on core business processes.

In February the company earlier announced the successful completion of a Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 Type II audit of process controls by an independent, third-party accounting firm.

This is the third consecutive year that ProcureStaff has completed the rigorous audit of their Vendor Management System technology.

Companies engaged in the selection of a services procurement solution provider often investigate whether a provider has completed the SAS 70 Type II audit.

Successful completion of the audit demonstrates that a service organization has been through an in-depth examination of their control objectives and activities, which often include controls over information technology and related processes. The audit also certifies the effectiveness of a company’s internal control over financial reporting.
